Above are the current standings for the Season X. Teams will earn a “win”, “loss”, or “tie” based on the result of each gameday. Every gameday match is worth one point with six matches scheduled on each Gameday. A Gameday win is worth one (1) point and a Gameday tie is worth one/half (1/2) point as reflected in the standings above. Ties are broken by calculating the team winning the most individual matches throughout the season.
The four (4) teams finishing with the best win/loss records during the Battle Court season will meet in the playoffs, determined 1st by Total Points Earned [and if tied] 1st by most individual matches won and 2nd by head to head gameday results. The team with the best overall record during the regular season will compete against the team finishing fourth during the regular season. The teams finishing with the 2nd and 3rd best records during the regular season will compete against each other in the 1st round of the playoffs.

A fronton is a three-sided court — our court measures 126 feet long, 30 feet high — with a granite front wall, concrete side wall, and glass back wall. One side is open with protective netting for spectators.
A curved, hand-woven wicker basket strapped to the player's right forearm. It catches the ball and hurls it back — creating throws faster than any other ball sport.
A dense white ball, about the size of a lacrosse ball and harder than a golf ball. With recorded speeds over 180 mph, Jai Alai still holds the Guinness World Record as the fastest ball sport in the world.
Matches are composed of sets played to six points. Serve, catch on the fly or before a second bounce, and return within a beat. The first player or doubles team to win two sets out of three wins the match.

Jai Alai — Basque for merry festival — dates to at least the 1600s in the Basque country of northern Spain and southern France. It arrived in the Americas via Cuba in 1901 and reached the U.S. at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.
Miami's story began in 1924, when the first Florida fronton opened at Hialeah. Two years later — in January 1926 — the Biscayne Fronton opened at 36th Street and 37th Avenue. That building, later renamed Miami Jai Alai, became known as the "Yankee Stadium of Jai Alai."
On December 27, 1975, a world record 15,502 fans packed the fronton for a single night of Jai Alai — still the largest crowd the sport has ever drawn.
In February 2026, the historic fronton reopened as JAM Arena, the modern home of the World Jai Alai League — marking exactly 100 years since Jai Alai first came to Miami.

Built by boxing promoter Tex Rickard — founder of the New York Rangers — the new Miami fronton at 36th & 37th opens in January.
Under Florida's new parimutuel law, Biscayne Fronton is renamed Miami Jai Alai. It will remain the only U.S. Jai Alai facility for 20 years.
