How to Bet

Harry Boy Only: Harry Boy is the easiest way to  bet the V75. For an all Harry Boy bet, just complete Section A of the bet slip. Mark the box that shows the maximum amount you want to wager and you're done!
All Regular Picks: To pick your own horses for all 7 legs, follow these steps to complete the Bet Slip:
1. Skip Section A and go straight to section B
2. In Section B, choose your "Multiple". The total cost of your wager (see "Calculate Cost of V75 Wager") will be multiplied by this amount. If you want to just bet 10 cents per selection, your Multiple would be 1.
3. In Section C, mark the Wager Type V75
4. In Section D, pick your horses for each of the legs.

Combination: To pick your own horses for some legs but have Harry Boy pick for the rest, follow these steps to complete the Bet Slip:

1. In Section A, mark the box that shows the maximum amount you want to wager.
2. Skip Section B and Section C.
3. In Section D, pick your horses in only those legs where you want to make a specific pick. Harry Boy won't make any selections for that leg.
4. If you want to make a specific pick in a leg but also let Harry Boy pick for that same leg, make your pick but ALSO mark the box "HB" in that leg only.

 The V75 Wager

V75 is a bet on Swedish trotting races where you try to pick the winning horses in seven races (a Pick-7).

V75 wagers open on Wednesday's and close on Friday's with races taking place on Saturday's.

The V75 wager is very popular in Sweden. A typical Saturday pool is about $11 million and payouts for a 7-race winners have been as high as $4.5 million.

Bettors who select five or six winners also receive consolation payouts. This is how V75 got its name - "Victory in 7 to 5 Races".

Super Pool! - A Super Pool occurs the week following a Saturday with no 7-race winners OR when the consolation payout for 6 or 5-race winners was very low (under $1). The pool from that Saturday carries over to the next week to create a Super Pool. In the past, Super Pools have reached as high as $25 million!

Harry Boy - The lovable horse Icon that represents a smart quick pick based on a combination of favorites and long shots. Harry Boy is a great option if you don't know much about the races or if you don't have time to handicap.
V75 Cost - To calculate the cost of a V75 wager, simply multiply the number of horse you picked in all seven races. For example: 3x5x2x1x4x1x2 = 240 rows.

Cost: 240x10 cents = $24

Payout Calculations - The net total of all money wagered on V75 is divided into three parts for payouts to those who pick 7, 6, or 5 winners. The portion of the payouts is divided according to the percentage show in the following table:
Group Share of Payout
7 Correct       40%
6 Correct       20%
5 Correct       40%

Scratch Procedures

If a horse you picked is scratch, another has to fill its place so you get the number of horses you paid for with V75 bet. If there is a scratch, the following procedure goes into effect:
  • You will automatically receive a replacement from the substitute list.
  • The substitution list is based on a ranking established by ATG based on the horse's last five races.
  • The substitution list is displayed below the past performance of the last horse in each leg. This is referred to in the program as "Reserve Order".
  • When a horse is scratch, your wager on that horse is replaced with a wager on the first horse listed on the substitution list.
  • If this horse has already been used in your V75 bet then the next horse on the substitution list will be the replacement.
