Tie-Breaker
In the event of a tie for first place, the person who has
correctly picked the most number of horses who finished first, wins. For
example, one person has six winners and the other person has four horses,
then the winner is the person with six winners. If both players have the
same number of winners, then the person whose horses have the highest
winning win pay-offs, wins. For example, one player has total win pay-offs
that equals $35.80. ($7.80, $12, $10 and $6 = $35.80). (Place and show
prices would not be used to break the tie). If his total is higher than the
person he is tied with, then he wins the contest. In the event that there is
still a tie, then a coin flip will determine the winner.
