seventh annual Autotote Bradley Teletheater Handicapping Challenge,
held the weekend of June 26-27.
Boyle, from Monmouth

Performance ($23.00) in race seven at Belmont, and $200 to win on
Loramateal ($17.80) on Churchill Downs’ race ten, a two-year-old
maiden filly event.
Shurman, a 2003 Autotote

on Sunday, but his return was only $1,890, giving him $10,290 for the
entire contest. Richard Rooney, of East Sandwich, MA, finished third
with $9,520, earning him $6,750 in prize money. Bart Fooden, Port
Washington, NY, had $9,400 in contest earnings, taking home $4,750 in
prize money. Chuck Snyder, Glastonbury, CT, and Paul Weizer,
Leominster, MA, tied for fifth, with $8,380 each in the contest,
earning $3,750 in prize money.
This year’s event also
included a $10,000 Sunday contest, where the top three scorers on day
two of the event win prize money. Gary Triplett, Mechanicsburg, PA,
turned his Sunday picks into $6,500 in contest points, winning $7,000
for his efforts. Richard Kessler, Richwood, NJ ($5,200 points)
finished second winning $2,000, and Jim Cramer, Galloway, NJ ($4,200
