2003 Stable Wars Proposition Wager

1.)        Patrons can wager on which “stable” will earn the most points over the course of the eight Breeders’ Cup races to be run Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Santa Anita.

2.)        There will be 10 stables consisting of three horses and one jockey.

3.)        Autotote Enterprises, Inc. will determine the stables after the pre-Breeders’ Cup draw, Wednesday, October 15, 2003.

4.)        Each stable will receive 5 points for a win, 3 points for second and 1 point for third.  At the conclusion of the eight races, the stable with the most points wins.

5.)        In a particular race, should a dead heat occur, the points would be awarded to each stable.  For example, if there is a dead heat for second, each stable will receive three points.

6.)        Wagering opens on Saturday, October 18, 2003.  Wagering closes 5 minutes before the post of the first Breeders’ Cup race, approximately 1:15 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2003.

7.)        The Breeders’ Cup consists of the following races:  Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, Sprint, Distaff, Mile, Juvenile Colts, Turf, Filly and Mare Turf, and Classic.

9.)        Minimum wager is $1.

13.)      A stable in which the designated jockey does not compete in any of the Breeders’ Cup races will be considered a non-starter.  Under this scenario, money will be refunded and the stable will be considered a “SCRATCH” from the proposition contest.
